What we do

Cornerstone opens its doors to all who desire to worship God with us. Our services run from 10:30 to noon. We begin with two or three opening songs, followed by prayer and sharing time, a sermon, communion (open to all), and more worship.

Our services offer a unique, authentic worship experience. The presentation is stripped down, but the spirit is unrestrained. Expect to praise God to a variety of musical styles, including blues, gospel, and contemporary worship.

Cornerstone does not ask you to check your brain at the door. Teachings tackle the challenging questions of life, theology, and science while relying on the Bible as our foundation. Questions and constructive discussion are welcome.

We believe it is the mission of the church to serve our brothers and sisters in need. We support a number of ministries through prayer and money, including C-U at Home, a local socks ministry for the homeless, a university ministry to Chinese students, and Spring, an after school program in the Mississippi Delta. Our ties to the Delta run deep; we also travel to the area every spring to work on houses for Habitat for Humanity.
